With several entertaining sub-plots, the author uses his experience of banking and finance as a background to see how the newly selected MPs manage to plan for the 2012 Olympics in credit-crunch Britain. The truth is that there is always a dodgy banker or someone "on the make" in every situation! |
| 2010-09-08 Alan .... | I should really like to recommend this book of Harland's. I read the first one and was not disappointed by this second book in the trilogy. He manages to keep the interest and interplay of plot going. I especially liked the subtle manipulations of the Queen throughout. |
